Sarah Gerwens retro

Sarah Gerwens was raised in Dortmund, Germany. As one of E&M's editors, she is always looking for new stories to tell and happy to hear from new writers looking to join the magazine. Sarah holds BAs in Global Studies and Psychology from Hofstra University and an MSc from the London School of Economics. In the past, she has interned in the European Parliament, the Bundestag, an anti-torture NGO, and the GIZ. In her free time, she attempts to adult, rock climbs, reads the news, and (unsuccessfully) teaches the neighbourhood cat how to use a computer.
